Gain Weight & Build Muscle - A Pleasant Surprise!

I'm enjoying John's books and thought I would see how my weight gain could incorporate an increase of muscle mass as well with this new release. I have trouble keeping weight on and wondered if building muscle mass might be the answer. Having a procrastination issue as well left me concerned but I was pleasantly surprised when I found the task was easier than I thought. Balance is the key and some surprising suggestions were given that have left me very optimistic for my desire to stay on track and follow through. Thanks for that!

workout keys for the skinny guy

This book contains useful information to help the skinny guy gain weight and build muscle the right way. Written from the author's experience, topics covered include the importance of workout, how you should workout and exercises to avoid to prevent injury. There is a15-point baseline plan and suggested workout rep schemes to implement to start gaining more weight and muscle. Highly recommended. The only reason I gave 4 stars is I just wish there was a little more in depth explanation in some parts, although for the most part I liked that it got to the point.

A hardgainer's bible!

I've always been a skinny kid, eating whatever I choose and not putting on as much as a pound (which isn't necessarily a good thing!) After reading River's book and applying his knowledge and advice when it comes to my workout regime I've been able to slowly but surely seen an increase in lean mass.

Highly recommended.
