u cannot follow everything but still is okay if you are a follower of ayurveda..the thing i dont like about the book is , it did not give any substitute for oils and homeremedy other than the producta manufactured by balaji Tambe.Need to have more home and easily available products....

He is brave to write his story. I just wish he would use the Amazon "about the book" comment paragraphs to tell us some evidence; like he was ordered to New York to take pictures one day before the disaster. It has been reported FEMA arrived in New York on Sept 10, and SAIC corp who has done experiments with the type of explosives found in the dust-they were there days before the disaster. Hurrah Sonnenfeld. When in court, save words and state your evidence quickly help America.

This book first appeared at the Buenos Aires International Book Fair in May 2009. A month later, the Voltaire Network published a long interview with the author in two sympathetic articles about him: "Kurt Sonnenfeld: an inconvenient 9/11 witness" and "9/11 FEMA videographer at Ground Zero goes public." There and elsewhere, Sonnenfeld has presented himself as a whistle blower who has unique, photographic evidence of a criminal conspiracy relating to "the horrible events that occurred on September 11, 2001." His Facebook page contains many of these photos as well as links to various articles about him. The book itself has 24 black & white photos of Ground Zero and its videographer.

When I heard about this book in June 2012, I was willing to pay $42 for a copy which I hoped might in part "reveal the truth of 9/11," as its cover proclaims. I agreed with Sonnenfeld that "things are not what they seem" in regard to 9/11 events. I deplored the lack of proper investigation of them, as he did. I deeply sympathize with "perseguidos" of our world, among whom I have the highest esteem for brave whistle blowers whom governments (including my own) persecute rather than use to help them prosecute lawbreakers within government itself. I was strongly predisposed to like this book.

However, after finally reading it in March 2015, I was disappointed and skeptical. I wondered why most of the book concerned the writer's personal travails rather than his experience at Ground Zero on 9/11--the trauma that has troubled so much of the world and about which he claimed to have special insight. I wondered why this American had written in Spanish instead of in English, why there was no English translation of the book, and why no one had reviewed it on Amazon.com. . I wondered about the general paucity of names and dates and vital facts in this memoir. I wondered about the disparity between facts that the writer reported about his first wife Nancy (whom he is accused of killing but whom, he claims, committed suicide) and the profound and persisting love he repeatedly professed for her. I wondered how he could then marry his Argentine second wife, Paula, only two months after they had met in Buenos Aires. I wondered why he seemed to exaggerate and emphasize his own physical and emotional suffering and also his love for two successive wives. "The [writer] doth protest too much, methinks."

In search of more information about the writer, I came to realize that Kirk Mitchell's book, "The Spin Doctor: Hero or Cold-Blooded Killer?" (which is listed on the Amazon page below "El Perseguido") also tells the story of Kurt Sonnenfeld--but in far greater detail and with far different facts. Thanks to the "Look Inside" feature of the Amazon page--which is not available for "El Perseguido"--I read many of its pages. I urge you to do the same. Additionally, I suggest that you read "Kurt Sonnenfeld: FEMA's Whistle Blower?" on the "Signs of the Times Network" (www.sott.net).

For the sake of Kurt Sonnenfeld's Argentinian second wife Paula and their twin daughters Scarlett and Natasha, I hope that his account in "El Perseguido" is true. I am afraid it is not. A criminal trial in Colorado should determine this issue sometime this year. On December 30, 2014, the South Atlantic News Agency ( www.en.mercopress.com ) reported, "Argentina's Supreme Court clears the way for Kurt Sonnenfeld's extradition."

Wow! At The Laird's Command is the third book in the Sword and Thistle series by Laurel Adams and I absolutely love it! Adams has dazzled her readers yet again with her amazing talent, incredible imagination and unique style. This story just reached out and grabbed me from the get go and refused to let me go until I read the very last word. I completely fell under the spell created by the magic and fantasy of Adam's skilled storytelling. The story is exciting, thrilling, powerful, raw, compelling, enthralling, enticing, romantic, arousing, sensual and steamy. The dialog is smart and very well written. The characters are captivating, fascinating, engaging, dark and sexy. One of the things I love most about Adam's writing, is her ability to gain empathy for her characters from her readers. You become totally immersed in the story and the lives of the characters. It makes reading the book a much more pleasurable and personal experience. Laird John Macrae is chief of his clan. It is he who will determine the fate of Heather's father after he was caught cheating his Laird-again. Heather is devastated when the Laird announces that her father is to be hanged. She knows she must do something to save her father but they are mere crofters-poor tenant farmers. She has nothing to offer in exchange for her request of mercy for her father other than her fealty, her body and her virginity. And surprisingly, the Laird Macrae is all too willing and eager to accept her offer. But now that he has her, what will he do with her? Or should I say, what will he do to her? Oh my goodness! There 's so much underneath the lives of the main characters. How each one is trying to figure out the best and most proficient and lifesaving ways to save the clan. But keeping secrets how their feelings of love for each other's needs be forfeited for the safety of all . I got caught so deep, I didn't stop reading through to the end.

I was surprised by how much I liked this story. I find it intriguing and charming when there are rougher (BDSM, DD) in historical stories. The addition of polyamory was unexpected, also. The love story is sweet, and very powerful. I would definitely consider reading more by this author.

The future of microelectronics

This book consists of two parts (its not formally laid out that way, it just naturally organizes into two parts). The first part is a qualitative introduction to integrated semiconductor electronics (with emphasis on transistor junctions). The second part focuses on solid state quantum physics with emphasis on optical as well as electrical properties. There is also a smattering of material on super conducting materials and some basic material about how a digital computer works. The author's intended audience is the high school student or first-year college student who wants to pursue a degree in the sciences. An alternate audience is the informed layman who wants to be up to date at a qualitative level with recent advances in electronics and future directions in research and development.
I believe the book is well written for the intended audience. Turner has an easy-to-read style, and he manages to explain things (generally) in a technically accurate way without the use of mathematics. Without the mathematical details this book is not what you'd expect in a design reference - and that's not what it's intended for. But it is an excellent book to read in advance of a rigorous quantitative class on the subject. I think it's much easier to understand physical phenomena in mathematical detail if one first obtains a qualitative "feel" for what's going on.
Turner opens his book with two short chapters on matter and the origin of conductivity. He spends the next few chapters describing p-n junctions, how they are used to make transistors, and issues that limit their size and speed. Along the way he shows how transistors are used in computers both in the fabrication of basic logic elements, and also in the venerable "flip-flop" memory cell. His descriptions are clear and concise, making liberal use of figures and diagrams so that the concepts can be grasped with no particular pre-existing skills in physics or electronics.
The explanation of present semiconductor physics sets the stage for later discussions about the motivation for semiconductor devices at the quantum level. He does a good job of illustrating the fact that quantum-dominated semiconductor devices will not simply be miniaturized versions of the devices populating current integrated circuits. The physics would not allow it. Rather, they will be unique devices that are designed and custom tailored using quantum theory from the ground up. The result will be new devices that have similar - though often dramatically different - operating characteristics, and that are orders of magnitude smaller than present devices, as well as faster.
In illustrating the classical and quantum semiconductor circuits, Turner does a nice job of laying out the basic ideas behind these devices. In qualitative prose, he explains the exclusion principle, how it applies to fermions, and how the exclusion principle in conjunction with quantized energy states results in many of the phenomena that we observe in semiconductor devices. Turner's description of the optical properties of semiconductors flows naturally from earlier discussions. He describes the basic ideas behind a laser, though in this regard I found the descriptions somewhat lacking. Other interesting groundwork is provided in his descriptions of tunneling and Compton pairs (which are involved in super conducting).
A nice feature is the glossary of terms, along with a nice list of further reading material and a good index. The book is also well illustrated throughout, with figures that add considerably to one's level of understanding. I'd recommend this book to anyone interested in a qualitative introduction to solid-state physics, electronics, or semiconductor optics. I found it enjoyable to read and rich in the sort of qualitative imagery and description that makes learning so much more enjoyable.

Great book of future technology for the Lay person!

Turton has done a wonderful job descibing the technicalities of today's computer/electronic technology. His descriptions allow the lay-person to understand the current technology and to understand where the future is taking us - probably to the Quantum Dot - and other devices. I highly reccomend it for anyone interested in the nanotechnology field as a primer

Graphic Novel - AMAZING!

When I finally got this book I was so happy that I read it straight away and in one night!!! The graphic novel is different from the Dark-Hunters manga, because it is read forwards, not backwards. Which might make it easier for some people. The story line is almost exactly the same (I mean they did have to compact the whole book into picture, so of course some scenes are going to be taken out), but all in all it read pretty well and I can't wait for the next one to come out!

Combines one of my favorite book series with my love of magna, plus I find it very interesting to really see how the author sees the characters appearance, anyway If you love the CON series is give this a try! Excellent book

This is a very unique book - which discusses in-detail the performance of different modulation methods (SPWM, SV-PWM etc) for a variety of inverter topologies. The book is very math intensive - the authors develops an analytical technique in the first few chapters and then applies the technique it in the rest of the book. A must have for graduate students or engineers working with inverters - with a special interest in modulation techniques and characterizing their performance.

A thorough text on most of the PWM modulation techniques. Deep mathematics analysis and examples. A must have as a reference and as a text book for graduate course in power electronics.
